More than 50% will admit that they don’t know (I was in that group) and more than 47% think they know and don’t realize that they don’t know until after graduation with student loans to pay, employed in a job they hate or unemployed because they have no skills.
Additionally, more than 85% of employed workers hate their jobs. A large percentage of those who did not have clear goals make up that 85%. Also, more than 80% of all college students change majors at least once. Others change many times, and some simply drop out of school. Exploring at the college level is expensive.
